Oakridge Cellar Door is open daily from 10am to 5pm. Oakridge Restaurant is open Thursday – Monday 11.30am to 5.00pm and features a seasonal selection of local produce skilfully prepared by Chef Matt Stone and his team.
Since its founding in 1978, Oakridge Wines has been making wine in the Yarra Valley and has evolved to be an outstanding winery, regularly producing wines of exemplary quality and supported by a welcoming cellar door and restaurant.
Our wines are a profound expression of the Yarra Valley, one of Australia’s premier wine regions. The history of the Yarra Valley goes back 160 years and today continues to produce outstanding fruit for premium wine production.
Oakridge Wine was established, in Seville before relocating to Coldstream in 1998. In 2007, Oakridge returned to private ownership under the directorship of the D’Aloisio & Atlas families. Fruit is sourced only from the most suitable vineyards within the Yarra Valley for each variety.
Designed by Australian architects, Denton Corker Marshall, the new Oakridge cellar door, restaurant and function space opened its doors in mid-2013 and offers lunch and guided wine tastings 7 days a week.
As a family-owned and operated business, Oakridge Wines revels in its team-approach. From the director to the cellar door, the winemaking team to back-of-house, the kitchen to the restaurant, each person is a valued member of the Oakridge family.
We also value the contribution our trade partners make to the brand, and importantly, we value our growers who work with us to produce great fruit for our wines.

Fruit is sourced only from the most suitable vineyards within the Yarra Valley for each variety. Chardonnay and Pinot Noir therefore come from the cooler, higher sites; whilst Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot are sourced from the warmer sites closer to the Valley floor.
Oakridge works closely with around 11 independent vineyards to carefully cultivate the ideal fruit for each wine, these include: Willowlake, Lusatia park, Funder and Diamond and Oakridge.
Our 864 Single Block Release are exceptional wines from specific and single blocks within a vineyard selected for their age and maturity. With these we would like you to appreciate and explore the sensation in a bottle from place or the specific terroir within a vineyard.
Oakridge Local Vineyard Series are outstanding expressions of single vineyards within the Yarra Valley. The Yarra Valley has three distinct geographic zones or sub-regions (lower warmer, middle cool and higher cooler sub-regions) and we match the particular variety with site to give you outstanding examples of single vineyard wines.
Our Over the Shoulder wines are great examples of wines that typify varietal characteristics of the Yarra Valley. Wines which are fresh, vibrant and medium bodied. Low alcohol wines with intensity, marvellous tightness and sharp focus. They will match and bring out the flavours of every day foods. Wines which best represent the cool climate Yarra Valley and remind you of the “village” wines in France. Everyday wines to enjoy now.
