YV Chardonnay Pack

The vineyards of Seville Estate are located in the cooler, southern regions of the Yarra Valley. As a result, this 100% Estate grown Chardonnay is elegant and focused and will age gracefully. The palate is crisp and pure with bright melon fruits, sweet spice and a toasted almond oak complexity. The acidity is fine with a lime sorbet like flavour.

A single vineyard Chardonnay that represents true Yarra Valley character. Aromas of lime zest, white stone fruit and subtle oak. The wine displays mineral notes and well balanced acidity.

This Chardonnay is clean and light with only a hint of French oak. Fine summer drinking paired with seafood.

The majority of fruit for De Bortoli Single Vineyard wines is hand harvested and the wines are handled by gravity where possible, producing fine wines of charm and character. The A5 Vineyard was planted in 1976 and is a gentle south-west facing vineyard planted to one of the early clones of P58 and is considered one of the showpiece Chardonnay vineyards in the Yarra Valley. It makes a fine-boned, elegant Chardonnay with terrific ageing potential over the next few years. Try with pan-fried John Dory for a delicious food match.

The 2019 Sexton Vineyard Chardonnay has citrus, green apple, nuttiness and almond characters. It has depth, concentration and great length with a chalky finish. A strong vintage for this vineyard with pedigree.
