We are so excited to be releasing our 2023 Single Vineyard Savarro and Pinot Grigio! Two of our most popular whites that are making their comeback just in the nick of time, so come along to taste them for yourself and take home a case or two because these two are popular and wont stick around for long!
This is also a rare opportunity to taste the inaugural vintage of our BRAND NEW Single Vineyard Marzemino, a Northern Italian Grape variety that we planted on our Hexham Vineyard only five years ago! Our Marzemino features a light and bright palate with medium tannins and acidity.
We are also welcoming back our Frank Wynyard ‘The Butcher’ a bold blend of Syrah, Cabernet and Nebbiolo from our Hexham Vineyard. This wine is a life celebration of Frank Wynyard Butcher, a forefather of SOUMAH and a horticultural scientist with a passion for research and love for something different. The inspiration behind this unique blend of reds!
You will have pleasure of being hosted by our knowledgeable Sales Manager Scott Bailey as he takes you on a journey through the wine tasting. He will explain about the origins of the grape varieties, why we grow them here at SOUMAH, the winemaking process, tasting characteristics and how to pair the wines to food, he is a real wine expert!
Following the wine tasting, enjoy a delicious two-course lunch accompanied by a glass of wine on our sun-filled deck, featuring our fresh new Spring menu created by our talented head chef Jak! YUM!
