Winemaking of the Yarra ValleyOne of the southernmost appellations of the Australian mainland, the Yarra Valley is a continental climate heavily influenced by cold and wet weather rolling in from the Southern Ocean, making it perfect for winemaking.

Situated just 45Km east of Melbourne (population 4m) and wedged up against the Western side of the Great Dividing Range, the Yarra Valley has traditionally sold most of it’s production into the homes of Melburnites. More recently, these wines have been finding a place at the spearhead of “new look Australia”.
