Established in 1972 by Dr Peter McMahon, Seville Estate is home to the oldest vines in the Upper Yarra Valley. Grown in rich red volcanic soils our award-winning wines truly reflect their sense of place.
Our cellar door, nestled in a stunning native garden just one hour east of Melbourne, offers guests a truly memorable experience. We are seeking a passionate and personable Casual Cellar Door Team Member to join our weekend team on a casual basis.
About the Role
- Welcome and host guests, guiding them through Seville Estate’s single-vineyard wines, sharing the story, history, and philosophy of the estate
- Act as a Brand Ambassador, delivering memorable tasting experiences with professionalism and attention to detail
- Conduct opening and closing procedures, stock management operations, packing and despatching of orders, processing sales and handle POS transactions with accuracy
- Maintain the cellar door’s hygiene and presentation standards and warm, welcoming environment
- Assist with occasional events
About You
- Passionate about wine, hospitality, and creating memorable experiences
- Confident and personable, with excellent communication skills
- Reliable, professional and able to work effectively independently and in a small, close-knit team
- Available Saturdays and Sundays from 11am – 4pm
- Previous cellar door, wine, or hospitality experience is preferred but not essential. WSET Level 2 or 3 highly regarded.
- RSA certificate and current driver’s licence
