Job Title: Director of Viticulture
SOUMAH is an award winning company with a 50 acre vineyard located 10 minutes from Healesville. Our vines range from Chardonnay and Pinot Noir through to many interesting Italian varietals including Nebbiolo, Barbera, Brachetto and Marzemino. The vineyard is now 80% on rootstock and includes a 30-megalitre dam and well maintained equipment.
This position will manage the vineyard and maintain the spray programme and equipment including contractors and work crews and be responsible for delivering the harvest. You will also be responsible for managing relationships with other growers that we have contracted and supervise other staff members who work around the property looking after our landscaping and onsite maintenance. You will need to have good experience in managing a vineyard and the appropriate certificates.
