When dusk descends on the Yarra Valley, the smoke begins to rise at Jayden Ong Wines, as part of Fireside festivities.

Join us for ‘Khoravats – an Armenian Barbecue’ on Friday 22nd July. A soul warming evening in the heart of Healesville where Jayden Ong and Tom Sarafian come together over smouldering fire, food and wine to celebrate the very best of winter. Tom will be sharing recipes, and dishes inspired by his Armenian heritage and love of cooking over fire. An event not to be missed!

$95 per person for food

Pickled cucumbers and turnips
BBQ flatbreads
Beetroot, yoghurt, walnuts and dill
Smoked trout, tarragon, pomegranate

BBQ lamb, quince, onions
Ghapama (whole slow roasted small pumpkins filled with rice, dried fruits and nuts)
Bitter greens salad, pomegranate molasses

Chocolate & rose marshmallows
Gatnabour (Armenian rice pudding, with cinnamon and caramelised apples)

A vegetarian menu is also available
Guests will be welcomed in 4 seatings: 6:30pm, 6:50pm, 7:10pm and 7:30pm

Please note:

• Ticket price includes a three course menu. Drinks galore available on a consumption basis
• The Yarra Valley is a cool climate region and in the cooler months the winery is kept at an optimum temperature for our wine in barrel and tank. For your comfort, we recommend dressing for the elements!
