Experience the sheer thrill of elevation and watch the land unfurl in its languid contours, cradled within the surrounding mountains.
11am: Picnic supplies
After you’ve come back down to earth, you can prepare for an early-afternoon picnic and select some Australia’s finest cheeses. 12pm: Wine tasting
You’ve just tasted out-of-this-world cheese, so the next stop has to be wine. Dominque Portet, run by winemakers whose dedication to the craft goes back ten generations, offer tasting of varieties that epitomise the Yarra Valley’s cool climate distinction.
